Verizon equipment that you no longer require or wish to return can be found in a number of places. You will also have to return Verizon rented equipment after your service expires, if you did not finish paying it off.

What will happen to my Verizon equipment in 2022?

In 2022, you can return Verizon equipment purchased directly from a store or website to a Verizon store location. If you purchased your Verizon equipment from an authorized retailer, you must return it to that retailer. It is possible to return Verizon FIOS equipment via UPS or at some Verizon FIOS stores, but not all stores will accept returns.

The device can be returned to a Verizon store if you purchased it from a Verizon store, customer service, or the company website.

In addition, if you’re returning a mobile device to a Verizon store, you may be charged a $50 restocking fee.

However, if you bought the device from an authorized retailer like Best Buy, you can’t return it to a Verizon store because authorized retailers have their own return policies.

  • Digital Adapter (DCT700): $90.00
  • Set-top Box – Fios TV One: $375.00
  • Set-top Box – Fios TV One Mini: $115.00
  • Set-top Box – High Definition (also known as HD): $190.00
  • Set-top Box – SD Digital Video Recorder: $330.00
  • Set-top Box – Standard Definition (also known as SD): $160.00
  • Set-top Box – Video Media Client: $115.00
  • Set-top Box – Video Media Server: $375.00
  • Set-top Box – HD Digital Video Recorder: $260.00

You will have to pay the same fees above for any damaged equipment returns that you do make to Verizon.

Do I have to send back my Verizon remote?

Returning your Verizon FIOS equipment to a local store or mailing it back does not necessitate the return of your Verizon remote.

Customers can keep the remotes if they prefer, but if they don’t want them, Verizon will recycle them on their behalf if they send them back.
