What Online Stores Have Free Shipping

Every online shopper has done it at some point: put an item or products in their cart, clicked “Check Out,” saw the shipping cost, and then abandoned their order. When you add $10 or $12 to the price of a $25 top or $15 accessory, it’s no longer so tempting, even to devoted shoppers.

Inexpensive shipping is a major problem for internet companies. It costs money to track down the ordered goods, wrap them safely, and mark the box. Add in the price of packaging materials, tape, and padded envelopes for delivery. Then customers have to shell out cash to get the package delivered (through the post office, UPS, or FedEx).

Due to the high price of shipping, customers are more likely to take advantage of a merchant’s free shipping offer. Free shipping on any order, no matter how modest, is much better. Some of the most well-known online retailers offer free or discounted shipping options for customers who would otherwise have to pay for it. They have the ability to transport your items to you without adding any delivery fees.

Superstores Online That Offer Free Shipping

You can find just about anything you need at one of today’s major superstores. In addition, most of them offer speedy and oftentimes cost-free delivery right to your front door.

1. Amazon

There is a good chance that you can locate your desired item(s) on Amazon. Although it first sold books, the store’s inventory has expanded to include everything from apparel to vinyl records to baggage. In other cases, like if a product isn’t available on Amazon, it might not even exist.

There are other Amazon promotions that offer free shipping. One choice is to join the company’s subscription service, Amazon Prime. The cost of Prime membership is substantial. The subscription cost can be paid yearly or monthly.

The annual charge of $119 is less than the monthly rate of $12.99, but it must be paid in full at the beginning of the year. If you’re on a limited budget and aren’t sure you can afford it all year, that may dissuade you from signing up. However, students and those with Medicaid or an EBT card can save money on Prime membership.

Two-day and even same-day shipping is free for Prime members. Prime members can stream both music and videos at no extra cost. Grocery delivery is free if you live near Whole Foods.

Without investing in Amazon Prime, you can still take advantage of the company’s free shipping offer. When you spend over $25, shipping is on the house. You may save up to 15% and get free shipping by signing up for a subscription to regularly purchased items like laundry detergent and cat litter.

These products are available through the Subscribe & Save service and will be delivered on a regular basis (every four or eight weeks, for example). Although Amazon Prime members and those who spend $25 or more on their shopping automatically qualify for free shipping, not all products qualify for this discount. It is important to note that certain vendors ship according to their own policies.

It’s important to note that even if your purchase total is under $25, some small goods, like pens, will not be shipped until you reach that amount. The results of your search will be narrowed down to only those items that qualify for free delivery if you check the “Prime Eligible” option.

2. Target

If you spend over $35, Target will send your order for free within two days. Although there are a few caveats. Some items, such as a bottle of lotion or a torch, only ship if your order total is over $25.

A trip to the nearest Target will be required otherwise. Additionally, some products may be discontinued for shipping, indicating they are no longer available for shipment and may have limited quantities at your chosen retail location.

Fresh produce, including fruits and vegetables, cannot be ordered online for free standard shipping, despite the fact that many Target stores sell groceries. Instead, you’ll need to use Target’s delivery service, Shipt, to order any perishables like fresh fruit and vegetables.

Unlimited same-day delivery on orders above $35 costs $99 per year or $9.99 per month. Applying for a Target RedCard is another option for getting free shipping on all purchases.

The RedCard is the store’s credit card, and it provides a 5% discount on all purchases and a longer return policy. However, given that it is a credit card, it may not be the optimal choice for all consumers.

If you want to know more about the Target RedCard, check out our review. It’s possible to run out of an item even though it’s usually readily available in your local Target. There is a greater chance of getting exactly what you want when you want it if you place your order online. Driving, browsing, and waiting are all activities that take less time.

3. Walmart

Walmart is a viable alternative to online retailers like Amazon and Target. Free next-day shipping on orders over $35, no membership required. Free shipping the next day or the next two days, with free in-store pickup and delivery, are all part of Walmart+. Membership in the program costs $98 per year, or $12.95 monthly, making it comparable to Target’s and Amazon Prime’s fees.

You can get groceries, medicine, home furnishings, and even toys delivered the following day with Walmart’s convenient OneDay program. Walmart makes it extremely obvious on the site which items can be delivered the following day.

Please be aware that if you add both eligible and ineligible products to your shopping cart, you will not be able to select either of them for next-day delivery. If you enjoy Walmart’s prices but hate the crowds and long lineups at the cashier, you’ll adore their next-day delivery service.

4. Brandless

5. Macy’s

Macy’s is a department store that carries a wide variety of things, including apparel, accessories, home furnishings, and cooking utensils. At $25 or more, shipping is on the house.

When you use your Macy’s credit card to spend more than $500 annually, you’ll receive free delivery on all orders, no minimum required, until December 31, 2021. Pickup in-store is always free, and available if preferred.

6. Improved World Books

It may only sell books, but Better World Books is no less of a megastore for that fact. The online bookstore offers free shipping on all orders and stocks thousands of old books, including many that are out of print.

If a library no longer has use for a book, they can donate it to Better World Books. It accepts donations from average people like you and sells fresh books sourced from a network of providers.

The goal of the nonprofit Better World Books is to spread the importance of reading. In addition to its book-buying program, the corporation also supports literacy initiatives by donating to and partnering with libraries and book-buying programs. To support Better World Books is to support the spread of literacy around the world.

Online Clothing Stores That Offer Free Shipping

Free shipping and returns at many online clothing companies have reduced the inherent uncertainty of buying clothes online. Select the apparel and accessories you prefer, try them on at home, and send them back for free with the provided prepaid mailing label.

7. Nordstrom

Nordstrom is widely regarded as one of the finest web-based apparel stores available today. The store sells clothing for both adults and children, from inexpensive to high-end labels.

As a result, you’ll have the means to invest in both cutting-edge styles and more expensive pieces. The shipping and return policies are what truly set Nordstrom apart from other luxury department stores. The shipping and returns on all orders are free. Nordstrom does not have a final sale policy. The designer outfit you’ve been eyeing is probably on sale for 70% off because the season is coming to an end.

The online Nordstrom store will match competitors’ prices. Make sure to contact Nordstrom’s customer care if you find a lesser deal somewhere online before making a purchase. There may be a cheaper option if it is available in the same color and size.

8. J.Crew and Madewell

Preppy, comfortable clothing for men, women, and children is available at J.Crew and Madewell. Both sites are independently run but are owned by the same firm and offer identical perks, such as free shipping and rewards programs.

The name of the Madewell loyalty program is Madewell Insider. A birthday present, hemming of jeans, and delivery are all free of charge, as is the return policy. Fast, free shipping is yours to enjoy if your annual expenditures exceed $500. There is a points system in place for the Insider program. For every dollar spent, you earn points that can be used for future discounts or freebies.

J.Crew has a rewards program known as J.Crew Rewards. It ships for free but you have to pay to send it back. Every dollar you spend earns you one point. When you reach 200 points, you can redeem them for $5 off your next purchase.

If you don’t plan on making frequent purchases at either retailer, there’s little use in signing up for their loyalty programs. Free shipping to a local J.Crew or Madewell store is available if you wish to make a single purchase online. Choose to keep it or return it on the spot after picking it up, trying it on, and deciding if it fits.

9. Reformation

Reformation is a popular eco-friendly label that makes clothing for women. The label’s offerings include T-shirts, trousers, and dresses that range in length from midi to mini. The company also produces bridal wear and footwear. You can return an item you bought online for free, and delivery both ways is on the house.

Given that the store’s sizing is all over the place, the option to send items back for an exchange or refund is quite welcome. Some shoppers have reported needing a different size depending on the brand or cut of the item. In order to avoid wasting time, it is recommended to order many sizes of the same outfit and keep only the one that fits.

10. Everlane

A key selling point for Everlane is its radical openness. You may learn more about the factories and the people who manufactured each garment, as well as why Everlane chose to work with them, by clicking on the “About” tab while shopping on the company’s website.

The company’s focus has shifted to include the sale of eco-friendly garments, such as down coats crafted from recycled plastic bottles and silk shirts crafted from more eco-friendly fibers. It has also promised not to use any newly manufactured plastic in its wares.

There are clothes, shoes, and accessories for both sexes at Everlane. You should check out Everlane if you’re a fan of basic style and clean lines.

On top of that, new customers can save 10% on their initial purchase, and all orders over $75 will be shipped for free. On rare occasions, you may even be able to catch free 2-day shipping on your entire transaction.

Deals like those tend to pop up approximately a week before a holiday weekend. You can avoid the cost of the return fee by asking for shop credit instead of cash.

11. Zappos.com

In the beginning, Zappos.com was all about revolutionizing the shoe shopping experience. Buying shoes online without first trying them on was unheard of before Zappos.com. The company, which used to sell shoes but is now exclusively online, has expanded into women’s, men’s, and children’s apparel, as well as accessories and bags.

Everything purchased on Zappos.com can be returned at no cost. The return request must be submitted within 365 days of the original order date.

When you sign up for Zappos’s rewards program, you’ll get free shipping the following business day, faster returns, and points for every dollar you spend. Those points can be used for promotional vouchers.

12. Banana Republic, Gap, Old Navy, and Athleta

The Gap, Old Navy, Athleta, and Banana Republic are all part of the Gap family of labels. If you spend more than $50 online at any retailer in the Gap family, delivery is on the house. To top it all off, you may shop at every store at the same time from one convenient location, combining items from different locations to meet the minimum purchase requirement of $50.

If you’re trying to find a one-stop shop for your family’s clothing needs, Gap family brands are a great option. Old Navy has pants for the kids, Banana Republic and Gap provide professional attire for you and your spouse, and Athleta sells leggings for your next yoga session or outdoor excursion.

13. Net-a-Porter

Net-a-Porter is the place to go if you have a soft spot for high-end designer clothing and accessories. The shop provides free shipping on over 800 designer labels and 200 luxury cosmetics labels. U.S. returns are also free of charge.

14. Asos

The British company Asos sells apparel for both sexes. It has an extensive brand range, with over 850 different labels and its own label available.

If your purchase from Asos is over $50, shipping is on the house. Premier Delivery, the brand’s annual subscription program, costs $19 and includes free express shipping on all orders over $15, with next-day delivery available for an additional $4.99.

15. Bonobos

A line of men’s apparel made by Bonobos. Those who wear it praise the brand’s comfortable and well-fitting button-down shirts in bright colors. To make it simpler for men to find appropriate attire, this brand was launched. The trend began with elasticized waistbands for pants and spread from there.

A Bonobos Guideshop is the online retailer’s answer to a physical store, where customers may stop by for a fitting, some beer, and some expert advice. Indefinitely free shipping is a perk of shopping on the site. Free returns and exchanges are included in the effort to simplify the process of buying new clothing.

16. Neiman Marcus

Classy department store Neiman Marcus is a department store that carries high-end fashion labels for both men and women of all ages, as well as cosmetics and accessories from a variety of renowned designers. All orders are shipped for free.

Furthermore, the majority of returns are provided at no cost. If you buy something on sale or if you send it back more than 15 days after it was delivered, you won’t get your money back. There will be a $9.95 restocking fee if this occurs.

17. East Dane and Shopbop

Check out Shopbop for women’s clothing and accessories and East Dane for men’s clothing and accessories if you’re seeking designer brands with the free expedited shipping benefit of Amazon Prime.

Since both sites are owned by Amazon, Prime members can take advantage of Prime benefits like free two-day shipping. If you are not a Prime member, you may still take advantage of our free delivery and 30-day return policy.

Online Accessory Stores That Offer Free Shipping

It’s easy to find stores that sell clothing and accessories. However, there are a select few shops that provide the finishing touches to your ensemble. These accessory stores offer free shipping on all orders, regardless of size or weight, making them ideal for buying shoes or jewelry online.

18. Kate Spade

Kate Spade is the place to go for stylish purses. For both its clothing and its accessories, the designer label provides complimentary shipping. And if you need to send something back, that’s no problem either.

19. Shoes.com

In general, Shoes.com offers better deals than Zappos.com. It typically offers lower costs and a discount code may almost always be found online. Not only that but no delivery costs at all.

A free return policy doesn’t apply here, unlike at Zappos.com. Returns are not free of charge, but exchanges are allowed so that you can try on a new size, color, or pair of shoes without spending any more money. Shoes.com is a great resource for finding a great price on your next pair of shoes if you already know your size in a specific brand.

20. Tiffany

If you want to give someone a Tiffany gift but don’t live near a Tiffany store, you can still do so by purchasing it online and having it shipped in the store’s signature small blue box. Moreover, if you are on the verge of popping the question, you will likely be looking for ways to cut costs without sacrificing the quality of the engagement ring.

The good thing is that Tiffany offers free shipping. The jewelry retailer also has a no-hassle return policy for web purchases. There is no cost to return the ring if it doesn’t fit or if your significant other decides they don’t like the design you selected.

21. Blue Nile

When it first opened its virtual doors in 1999, Blue Nile was a game-changer in the diamond ring industry, allowing customers to browse and purchase ethically sourced engagement and wedding bands without ever leaving their couches.

The site’s longstanding policy of providing free delivery on all purchases remains in effect. Spend over $1,000 and get free overnight shipping with priority processing. Your purchase is fully refundable within 30 days.

Online Beauty and Personal Care Shops That Offer Free Shipping

When you want to make sure a new cosmetic or shampoo really does smell as amazing as your friend thinks it does, it’s best to go check it out in person. Buying things online is convenient if you have a defined routine and go-to products.

When it comes to purchasing cosmetics and other personal care items online, many reputable retailers provide free shipping.

22. Sephora

If you’ve ever tried to shop at Sephora on a weekend, you know that buying cosmetics online is much more convenient. While there is no opportunity to try before you buy, the lack of a waiting period and the absence of people more than compensate for this. Further, orders over $50 receive free three-day shipping.

Make a Sephora account and save your favored products for later use. When you’re running low on an item, you can quickly and easily replenish your supply by selecting it from your curated favorites list, adding it to your shopping cart, and then paying for it.

You may earn points for every dollar you spend at Sephora and redeem them for free samples or full-sized products. If you frequently make purchases from Sephora, you may consider joining the Flash two-day shipping program. For $15 a year, you may enjoy unlimited two-day shipping on all orders.

23. Ulta

If you spend more than $35 at Ulta, shipping is on the house. The shop offers a wide variety of cosmetics, skin care products, and hair care items in a range of pricing points. Whether you’re looking for luxury cosmetics from Kiehl’s and Lancome or affordable options from Nyx and Burt’s Bees, you’ll find them all at Ulta.

The Ultimate Rewards loyalty program awards you points for every dollar you spend in the store. As an example, if you get 100 points, you can redeem them for $3 off your next purchase.

24. MAC

Whenever you place an order with MAC, you’ll receive free standard shipping. As an added bonus, MAC accepts returns on opened and used products without charging a restocking fee if you try something new and don’t like it.

25. Dermstore

Dermstore’s initial emphasis was on medical-grade skin care supplies. But today they also sell luxury cosmetics and hair care products thanks to its expansion.

When you spend over $50 with this cosmetics and skin care company, shipping is on the house. It’s nice to know you can indulge in skin care and cosmetic goods without also having to splurge on the shipping because those things can be rather expensive. If you buy just a couple of items, shipping is on the house.

Online Furniture and Home Decor Stores That Offer Free Shipping

The Internet has revolutionized the way people shop for furnishings and decorative accents for their homes. You may now get the ideal rug or vase without wasting a Sunday afternoon at a mega-mall dedicated to home furnishings.

As of late, all it takes is a couch and some spare time to get it done. In addition, the proliferation of home furnishing stores online means you can create the ideal ambiance for your family and guests.

26. Birch Lane, Joss & Main, AllModern, and Wayfair

To furnish your home, go no further than Wayfair, the largest online furniture and home products company. Considering its success, it spawned other offshoots, including AllModern, Birch Lane, and Joss & Main. Furniture, bedding, and outdoor decor are all available on Wayfair and its related marketplaces.

Not very often will you find a furniture store that offers free shipping? However, the Wayfair family of businesses provides free shipping on orders over $49. This includes large furniture items like sofas and coffee tables.

27. Overstock

Affordable furniture and decorative accents may be found in plenty at Overstock. In addition to brand-new items, it also offers overstock and closeout stock. If you want something truly special or personalized for your house, check out the handcrafted items department.

When you spend more than $45 in the contiguous United States, we’ll send your order at no cost to you, regardless of where you live. In addition, if you plan on making frequent purchases there, you may join the store’s membership club, Club O, for the price of a single year of a magazine subscription.

In addition to a 5% back in incentives and a price-match promise, Club O members also get free shipping on all orders, free returns, and free shipping both ways.

28. Crate & Barrel

It’s important to note that not everything sold by Crate & Barrel comes with free shipping. Glassware, select small appliances, beds, and home decor items are among the many that qualify for free shipping. So, if you like the quality and design of this company, you can be eligible for free shipping on your favorite items.

Technology Stores Online That Offer Free Shipping

Raise your hand if you’ve had enough of pushy salespeople trying to sell you a new computer, smartphone, or other equipment. Fortunately, you can satisfy most, if not all, of your technological requirements through internet shopping, and you won’t even have to pay for shipping.

29. Apple

If you’re a Mac fan, you may take advantage of Apple’s free shipping offer. Macs, iPads, Apple TVs, iPhones, and Apple accessories are all available for purchase on the company’s website. Two-day shipping is standard, however, iPhone orders ship the very following business day at no extra cost.

30. Samsung

No matter what you’re looking for, from tablets to phones to computers to home appliances, Samsung has you covered with free shipping. White-glove delivery is available at no cost for Samsung televisions larger than 55 inches. Even large appliances like refrigerators can be shipped for free, though you’ll have to pay more to have it set up and disposed of afterward.

31. Dell

Dell manufactures computers for use at home or in the workplace. No matter if you’re looking for a computer to help you study, do your work, or level up in your favorite game, Dell has you covered. Laptops, desktops, and other devices purchased from the corporation are eligible for free shipping and returns.

32. Best Buy

Perhaps you’re the spouse of a Windows user. In what ways can we help? Best Buy, for example, sells both Apple and Android products side by side, so there’s no need to go to either of the original manufacturers’ websites to make your purchase.

However, the product’s popularity extends beyond the mobile phone market. Best Buy is the go-to place for consumers in search of any and all electronic goods, including but not limited to televisions, home appliances, and audio gear.

Whatever you buy, shipping is on the house if you spend more than $35, and it’s guaranteed the next business day if you spend less than that. Some products can even be delivered the same day you order them, albeit installation is an additional cost.

Bottom Line

Although free shipping used to be a rare phenomenon when making purchases online, this perk is now more widespread than ever. Free shipping is a perk offered by many online stores in the hopes that you will spend more overall or join up for a membership service or recurring delivery plan.

Free shipping may be offered just during holidays or limited-time specials at some retailers. Shop around on websites like RetailMeNot and Rakuten to get discounts on delivery costs.

When you make a purchase via one of their connections, you do not only get free shipping and discount codes, but you also get cash back from both sites. RetailMeNot has previously offered $5 cash back on $65 purchases from Sephora, while Rakuten has offered 3% cash back on all Sephora transactions.

Plenty of online shops, including Target, Walmart, the Gap family of stores, and Nordstrom, have physical locations and provide free in-store pickup in addition to free shipping to your home.
