In 2022, will Lowe’s deliver?

As of 2022, Lowe’s does in fact deliver. Standard shipping takes 1-4 business days for the majority of products. For free delivery, however, your order must total at least $45 to qualify. Larger items like appliances are eligible for home delivery, but special-order items are not. Two-day and next-day delivery are also available.

What Is the Cost of Lowe’s Shipping?

Lowe’s home delivery charges $79 per order for items that are not eligible for standard shipping but can be delivered to your home.

Appliances that cost more than $400 are exempt from the $79 fee.

  • There is an additional charge of $1 per bundle if the shingles are delivered to the garage or second floor (no additional charge if your order is going to a job site)
  • If the delivery personnel must transport sheetrock to job sites, they will be charged an additional $2 per sheet.

For example, if a product weighs less than 150 pounds (or 70 pounds for PO box or APO/FPO addresses), it can be shipped.

  • If eligible items are removed from an order and the final total is less than $45 before shipping, free shipping will not be applied.
  • The only items eligible for free shipping are those that meet the standard weight and cube requirements and weigh no more than 150 pounds (or 70 pounds for PO Box or APO/FPO address).
  • In order to qualify for free shipping, an order must only be shipped to one address.
  • Orders placed for delivery in the future are not eligible for same-day store pickup; this also applies to Special Order items.

How long will it take for Lowe’s to arrive?

Standard shipping items from Lowe’s are delivered within a few hours to a few days.

In contrast, the two-day and next-day options are self-explanatory. Shipping times begin once the order has been processed and shipped, so keep that in mind.

Back-ordered items may take up to a week to process and two business days to arrive at your door, for example.

It’s also possible to schedule a Lowe’s truck delivery for a specific date and time, starting as early as the next day. Then again, you can change the delivery date on the checkout page.

As a result, Special Order items have an estimated availability date, which is typically between seven and 14 days after the order is made.
