People have become so accustomed to making all of their essential purchases at Family Dollar stores that they now even expect to be able to buy postage stamps there.
Are There Any Other Places You Can Purchase Postage Stamps Other than the Post Office?
Many other locations are available to purchase the postage stamps you need, including Family Dollar.
There are other places where you can buy stamps besides the Post Office, such as the following:
- Walmart
- CVS
- Target
- Some of the machines that issue cash
- Banks
- Toll roads
- chemists’ shops
- Staples
- AKA: Office Depot
- Amazon
Walmart and other large grocery stores, for example, are often open late or even 24 hours a day, so you can pick up stamps whenever you want even if the post office is shut.
It’s possible to buy just one or two stamps at some of these locations, but it’s not common.
However, the majority of stamps are sold in booklets or even sheets, so you can expect to get at least 10 to 20 stamps at a time.
Also, keep in mind that you may have to ask for postage stamps at the checkout or customer service counter if you can’t see them on the shelves.
