Aspire General car insurance coverage options

Aspire General’s vehicle insurance coverage is divided into two tiers: Savings and Advantage.

Each policy comes standard with the following coverages: liability, collision, and comprehensive, as well as the option to add or waive uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage. Both policies contain a collision deductible waiver if you are involved in an accident caused by an uninsured driver, a permissive use endorsement, and, if applicable, SR-22 filing with the DMV.

The following sections highlight some of the key features and extra coverage choices available through Aspire General’s Savings and Advantage plans.

Aspire General Savings

  • There is no opportunity to expand the bodily injury element of your liability coverage over the state-mandated minimum ($15,000 per person/$30,000 per accident), however property damage liability can be increased to $10,000 from the required $5,000, and medical payments coverage is excluded.
  • Discount for triple deductibles. Your deductible is double for the first 60 days after you purchase or restart your insurance. For example, if you have a $500 deductible and must submit a claim during this 60-day period, your deductible will be $1,500.
  • Stereos and sound systems. Permanently installed, manufacturer-installed sound systems in your car are covered under comprehensive and collision insurance at no additional expense – up to a $500 maximum.
  • Named non-owner coverage endorsement. This coverage is reserved for people who do not own a car and provides liability protection during times when you are required to drive. Learn more about auto insurance for non-owners.
  • Roadside assistance is available for an additional $5 per month.

Aspire General Advantage

  • While there is no option to extend your bodily injury liability coverage over the state-mandated minimum ($15,000 per person/$30,000 per accident), property damage liability can be increased to $10,000 from the minimum of $5,000. Optional medical payments coverage is offered solely through Aspire Advantage and has a $1,000 or $2,000 deductible.
  • Endorsement for non-owner coverage. This coverage is reserved for people who do not own a car and provides liability protection during times when you are required to drive.
  • Rental reimbursement is an optional benefit. If you require a rental automobile while your own vehicle is being repaired following a covered car accident, Aspire General will pay you for up to $20 or $30 per day for up to 20 or 30 days. The exact amount is determined on your insurance coverage.
  • Optional towing and labor. This coverage reimburses the policyholder $50 per disabled vehicle, up to a maximum of $200 per year.
  • Roadside assistance is available for an additional $5 per month.

Aspire General auto insurance discounts and reward programs

Aspire provides many discounts that are worth investigating if you’re trying to save money on your premium. Aspire provides less auto insurance discounts than some larger insurers.

  • Good driver. If you’ve maintained a spotless driving record for the last three years, you may qualify for a reduced premium.
  • Multi-car and multi-driver. Increase your savings by insuring more than one vehicle on your coverage. This reduction may also apply to single-car coverage if other family members in the same home are insured.
  • Alcohol education. If you successfully complete a state-approved alcohol awareness program and do not have more than one alcohol- or drug-related offense on your record, you may be eligible for this discount.
